Q Technologies Incorporated | QaTable

Effective Date: September 27, 2026

Q Technologies Incorporated ("Q Technologies," "QaTable," "we," "us," or "our") provides restaurant reservation, waitlist, seating, table-management, and guest communication technology under the QaTable name. This Privacy Policy explains how Q Technologies collects, uses, stores, and handles personal information through QaTable services, including the Q Host restaurant application, QaTable guest web experiences, reservations and waitlists, Google-originated bookings, related transactional communications, and optional restaurant marketing communications sent through Q Marketing Services to guests who separately opt in.

Q Technologies Incorporated is a Washington State corporation operating QaTable services in the United States and Canada. Questions, requests, complaints, or concerns regarding privacy may be directed to the Privacy Officer, Q Technologies Incorporated, at [email protected].

1. Who Uses QaTable

Restaurants. Restaurants contract directly with Q Technologies to use QaTable products and services. Q Host is a restaurant-facing application and is not a consumer application.

Guests. Guests do not create QaTable accounts. A guest may interact with QaTable when making a reservation or joining a waitlist through a participating restaurant, a QaTable web experience, Google, or another QaTable-supported booking path. Information submitted through those experiences may be delivered to the restaurant's Q Host application and stored by Q Technologies.

2. Information We Collect

Reservation and Waitlist Information

For reservations, QaTable collects information necessary to create and manage the reservation, including:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Party size
  • Reservation or waitlist date and time
  • Restaurant or location

A booking may also include optional information supplied by the guest, such as a special request. Examples may include a request for a quiet table, a high chair, or a note that the visit is for a birthday, anniversary, or other occasion.

Restaurants may also enter reservations and guest information directly into Q Host on behalf of a guest. QaTable maintains information associated with restaurant visits, reservations, waitlist activity, and related events.

Communications

Operational Communications

QaTable stores information necessary to send and manage operational guest communications connected to a specific reservation, waitlist, arrival, seating, or cancellation event. Reservation communications may include confirmation, reminder, change, and cancellation emails. Waitlist communications may include transactional SMS messages relating to the guest's current waitlist, arrival, seating, or related event.

SMS replies supported by the QaTable system are limited to defined responses such as YES, NO, REMOTE, STOP, HELP, and START. QaTable stores these responses. QaTable does not use transactional SMS communications to send subsequent advertising or marketing messages after the reservation, waitlist, or seating event is completed.

If a guest sends STOP, Q Technologies blocks further SMS communications from its servers to that telephone number across QaTable locations. A subsequent reservation does not by itself remove that block. Supported opt-in functionality, such as START, may be used to restore messaging.

Optional Q Marketing Services

Separate from operational communications, a guest may choose to receive restaurant marketing email or SMS through Q Marketing Services for a particular participating restaurant. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to make a reservation, join a waitlist, receive event-specific communications, or receive restaurant service.

Q records a guest's marketing choice through a supported affirmative opt-in, such as an unchecked marketing-email checkbox in a booking experience or another affirmative marketing-consent action. Q sends restaurant marketing communications only to guests for whom Q has recorded the appropriate marketing consent.

Marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. Marketing SMS provides opt-out instructions. Q honors marketing opt-out requests. A marketing opt-out does not itself withdraw consent for operational communications connected to an active reservation or waitlist event.

Technical Information

When a person uses a QaTable web service, Q Technologies may collect technical information associated with that interaction, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device type
  • Device identifiers
  • Operating system information
  • Usage and activity logs
  • Approximate location derived from IP address

QaTable does not request access to a guest's device location services and does not request or collect precise GPS location for these services. For restaurant accounts, QaTable also stores restaurant information required to configure the service, including the restaurant's address and telephone number.

Restaurant Account Information

Each restaurant has one restaurant account used to access Q Host. A restaurant may use more than one authorized device under that account. Devices are differentiated within the QaTable system using a device identity/name. Q Technologies also maintains information necessary to establish, support, administer, and bill restaurant accounts.

3. How We Use Information

Q Technologies uses the information described above to operate QaTable services, including to:

  • Create and manage reservations and waitlist entries;
  • Deliver reservation and waitlist information to the applicable restaurant;
  • Communicate reservation confirmations, reminders, changes, and cancellations;
  • Send waitlist and seating-related SMS communications;
  • Process supported guest responses to transactional messages;
  • Send approved restaurant marketing email or SMS through Q Marketing Services to guests who separately opted in to receive those communications;
  • Maintain the operational history of reservations, waitlists, and restaurant visits;
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve QaTable services;
  • Identify devices and maintain restaurant account access;
  • Provide customer and technical support;
  • Administer restaurant subscriptions and accounts; and
  • Respond to requests concerning a person's personal information.

Q Technologies does not sell guest personal information. Q Technologies does not currently use its website or QaTable product for advertising tracking or behavioral advertising.

4. Information Provided to Restaurants

When a guest makes a reservation or joins a waitlist, the information needed to manage that event is made available to the applicable restaurant through QaTable. Restaurants use this information to manage the guest's reservation, waitlist position, seating, and restaurant service.

QaTable does not currently provide restaurants with a mechanism to download or export Q Technologies' stored guest database. QaTable also does not expose a guest's historical visit record to a restaurant as a general guest-history database.

5. Service Providers and Integrations

Q Technologies uses a limited number of outside services in operating QaTable.

Vonage. QaTable uses Vonage services to transmit and receive SMS communications.

Google. Guests may create reservations through Google-supported booking experiences. When a Google-originated reservation is delivered to QaTable, it includes the reservation information required by QaTable, such as the guest's name, mobile phone number, email address, party size, reservation date and time, and restaurant/location.

Apple. Restaurants may purchase a QaTable subscription through Apple's App Store subscription system. In those cases, Apple handles the customer's payment under Apple's applicable subscription and payment processes and pays Q Technologies after receiving payment.

QuickBooks Online. When a restaurant is billed directly by Q Technologies, Q Technologies uses QuickBooks Online for billing.

GoDaddy. Q Technologies uses GoDaddy to host and manage its public website.

Q Technologies operates its own mail server for QaTable email communications. Q Technologies does not process or store full payment-card information in its QaTable databases.

6. Cookies and Website Technologies

The QaTable public website is hosted and managed using GoDaddy services and presents a cookie-consent mechanism. Q Technologies does not currently use website cookies or similar technologies for advertising or marketing tracking. Technical information generated through the use of QaTable web services may still be collected as described in the Technical Information section above.

7. Data Location and Cross-Border Processing

QaTable operates in the United States and Canada, but Q Technologies' servers are located in the United States, including in Ohio and Washington State. Personal information relating to Canadian users may therefore be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and may be subject to applicable United States laws while located there.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Q Technologies retains personal and operational information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Inactive data is deleted after seven (7) years. For guest personal information and associated reservation, waitlist, visit, and event data, the seven-year period is measured from the guest's last recorded QaTable activity. For data associated with a terminated restaurant account, the seven-year period is measured from the restaurant account's termination or deactivation date.

When a restaurant stops using QaTable, Q Technologies disables the restaurant account and removes its public associations or connections. The associated data is then retained subject to the seven-year retention rule above.

Q Technologies creates a complete backup of its applicable data each day. Each daily backup replaces the previous daily backup. Q Technologies does not maintain an archive of historical daily backups.

9. Access, Correction, Deletion, and Privacy Requests

A guest may contact the Privacy Officer at [email protected] to ask whether Q Technologies maintains personal information about them, request access to that information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of their personal information, or raise a privacy complaint or concern.

Q Technologies will delete a guest's personal information upon a valid deletion request, subject to information Q Technologies is legally required to retain. Q Technologies may request sufficient information to identify the requester and locate the applicable records before completing a request.

Restaurants may request closure of their QaTable account. Account closure disables the account and removes its public associations and connections. Historical restaurant data remains subject to the retention period described above.

10. Security

Q Technologies treats guest personal information as protected information within the QaTable system. QaTable requires authorization for restaurant access to protected services and uses device identification as part of restaurant application operation. Q Technologies' technical practices are designed to avoid unnecessary exposure of guest personal information in application logging and to restrict access to information according to its operational purpose. No Internet-connected service can eliminate every security risk.

11. Children

QaTable is not directed to children and does not intentionally solicit children's personal information.

12. United States and Canada

Q Technologies operates QaTable in the United States and Canada. Privacy rights and requirements may differ depending on where an individual resides and which laws apply to a particular interaction.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Q Technologies may update this Privacy Policy when its QaTable services or privacy practices change. The effective date displayed at the top of the policy identifies the version currently in effect.
